The operator of the website, Auerbach Schifffahrt GmbH & Co. KG, attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and complies with German data protection legislation. Our website can generally be used without providing any personal data. Storage of usage data

Access data is stored temporally in a log file on our server when you access a page of our website and/or request a file. Each data record consists of:

  • the date and time of your request
  • the name and URL of the requested file
  • the status code
  • the amount of data transmitted
  • the requesting domain (Referrer-URL)
  • a description of the type of browser used (browser version and operating system)

and will be stored until automatically deleted.

This data is collected to ensure a smooth connection to the website , an easy use of the website, to analyse system security and stability and for other administrative as well as statistical purposes.– It is not forwarded to any third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f German General Data Protection Regulation (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung). Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. Where personal or business data can be entered on the website, your disclosure of this data takes place on a voluntary basis. Your data is also treated as confidential in this case and will not be disclosed to third parties. Likewise, no linking to the above-mentioned access data takes place.

Data security

We use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by the visiting browser when you visiting our website. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. If the visiting browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form is indicated by the display of the shut key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of the browser.

We also use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect the data from anyone visiting out website against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

KG arising in whole or in part by the use of this website is subject to German law.
